Exploring Azeroth

    March 19th, 2023

    Greetings, my fellow WoW enthusiasts!

Today, I wanted to share my latest adventures in Azeroth, specifically in the world of classical engineering. Now, I know what you’re thinking – “But wait, isn’t that skillset outdated and useless now?” And yes, while it may not be effective in combat, let me tell you, it’s still a heck of a good time.

For example, have you ever seen an Exploding Sheep in action? It’s both hilarious! I mean, what better way to take out a group of enemies than with a fluffy ball of wool that goes boom?

Now, to level up my classical engineering skills, I needed to collect a stack of medium leather. And instead of taking the easy route and just buying it off the auction house, I decided to set myself a challenge – to farm 50 Medium Leather myself. And where did I decide to do this? The Crystalvein Mines in Stranglethorn Vale, of course! There are a ton of basilisks close to each other that have light through heavy leather, but mostly medium.

And let me tell you, it was a quick one, but I still felt like a true jungle predator, stalking and killing beasts. And as if that wasn’t enough, I even managed to increase my Druid’s classic skinning level in the process.

Now, I know what you’re thinking – “But wait, did you max out your classic engineering level?” And the answer is no, I didn’t. I’m still a bit far off. But that’s not the point. The point is that by setting a simple goal and sticking to it, I was able to increase my profession levels on a few different characters, all while having a blast and before my morning coffee.

So, my fellow adventurers, I encourage you to take a page out of my book and try out some of the more unconventional ways of playing the game. Set yourself goals, explore new areas, and don’t be afraid to have a little fun along the way. And who knows, you might just discover a new appreciation for those “outdated” professions.

    Until next time, happy hunting!

    Greetings fellow adventurers!

Today, I’m excited to share my latest achievement in World of Warcraft – I’ve reached level 300 in classic cooking! It took me a few days of hunting, fishing, and recipe searching, but it was a journey well worth it.

First of all, let me just say that my hunter has never felt more like a true hunter than when I was running around Azeroth hunting animals for their delicious meat. I felt like I was on an episode of “Man vs. Wild” – except instead of drinking my own urine, I was grilling up some tasty steaks. Like real life!

Speaking of steaks, some of the recipes I discovered along the way were absolutely mouth-watering. I mean, who wouldn’t want to try a Spiced Chili Crab or a simple Roasted Quail? But let’s be real here, there were some recipes that made me want to lose my lunch before I even made it. I’m looking at you, Gooey Spider Cake.

One of the most exciting parts of this journey was getting to explore different parts of Azeroth that I may not have visited otherwise. I found myself fishing in the tranquil streams of Elwynn Forest, stalking bears in the Western Plaugelands, and finally venturing into the unforgiving sands of pre-scar Silithus to learn my final Classic leveling recipe. (Note to self: do not eat the Sandworm Meat – it’s a bit sandy, like Ruffles at the beach)

I even got a new Bat Mount on my journey!

At the end of it all, I can proudly say that I can now cook dozens of different recipes – from savory stews to succulent seafood. And while there are still a handful of recipes left for me to find, I can’t wait to continue this culinary adventure in Cataclysm cooking!

So, if any of you are feeling hungry for some adventure, come join me in Azeroth and let’s cook up a storm. Just don’t ask me to make you any insect-based foods!

Welcome to my World of Warcraft blog!

I’m excited to share my journey back into the game after a 14-year hiatus. As a younger man, I spent countless hours playing this game, exploring Azeroth, and making unforgettable memories. But as I grew older, other responsibilities took over, and my love for the game took a backseat.

Recently, I decided to pick up my sword and shield once again, and I must say, it feels great to be back! As an adult now, I’m able to appreciate the game in a whole new light, with a different perspective and understanding of the mechanics.

I’ve been playing casually, taking my time to soak up all the game has to offer, and it’s been an absolute blast revisiting old memories. It’s like running into an old friend that you haven’t seen in years – you pick up right where you left off.

Of course, the game has changed quite a bit since I last played. There are new zones to explore, new enemies to defeat, and new challenges to face. But I’m up for the challenge! I’m a bit of a completionist – I want to complete everything the game has to offer, and I won’t stop until I do.

So, join me on this adventure as I explore Azeroth once again. From dungeon delving to raiding, from questing to crafting, we’ll cover it all. And hey, if you’re a fan of Warcraft-related puns, you’re in the right place – I’m always up for a good “For the Horde!” or “That’s how I roll a crit”.

So buckle up and let’s dive into the World of Warcraft!
